Here's my self-centered moment of today:

On two separate occasions today, I had someone come up to me and introduce themselves because they recognized me from Closets Are For Clothes, and to tell me it was a great show.

That was awesome.

There are going to be four newspapers covering our show, including one putting us on the front page on Friday (read: everyone who picks up this newspaper will see it). I feel really rotten right now.

Like...combination sick/tired/apathetic/queasy/nervous. The show is in a week, and everybody's nerves are getting really frazzled.

Today was the first day of rehearsing on the actual stage at the Arts Center in Carrboro, rather than at somebody's house in a big empty room. It went mildly well, considering most of what we ended up doing was sorting out blocking and stuff. ew ( Read more... )

Today was the first day of drama camp! I have a group of kids with Buss - we have the oldest ones, which means they're either the most laid back or the most annoying because they think they know everything already. Last night was Last Friday in Hillsborough. It's a street fair deal where there are usually a couple bands and other people performing, food, and craft tables selling their stuff.
